This class is designed as a one-on-one tutoring session over the specific topics a student needs help with.  I can tutor on any level of physics as long as it is algebra based, from basic physical science all the way to AP Physics 1.  (Please note: I do not tutor for AP Physics 2 or AP Physics Calc).

We will focus on the concepts your child needs the most help with.  I ask that you or your child share with me before each meeting what they need help with.  I will then tailor our meeting to suit that need.  I can also work with a student through a specific assignment or check their work and help them fix mistakes.  I will not give the student the answers, but instead will teach them so they can do it themselves.  This is an important part of the learning process and something that is very important to me.

My focus is on:
- True understanding of material, not just giving them the correct answers
- Providing real world examples to help tie physics to what learners are familiar with
- Reteaching physics concepts in a different way than they see in their other class
- Providing additional practice problems with help to work through them

This tutoring session would work well for:
- Students who need additional help outside of their physics class
- Students who have an interest in physics but struggle with certain concepts
- Students who are taking a home school physics course and need one-on-one help
