Fuerzas.

Qué está incluido

5 reuniones en vivo
5 horas presenciales
Tarea
2-4 horas por semana. In order for each student to determine their own level of understanding of the High School Physics I will provide free of charge and outside of the sixty (60) minutes class questions to be answered. This of course is optional and solely based on the individual student. I would urge ALL students to answer as many questions as possible so that they would know where they need to improve, but it is optional.
Evaluación
Every class will have questions to be answered outside of the sixty (60) minutes class. This questions and answers will be done free of charge, as it will not be part of the sixty (60) minutes class.

The specific features provided by the documents used in my presentation are as follows:-

1.	It acts as a companion to the student who needs to be familiar with the content of each topic and with the skills required to master the content.
2.	It presents the material in a well-sequenced and coherent form, so that critical understandings are addressed, while developing a sound foundation.
3.	The material has aesthetic appeal through the use of color, diagrams, tables and graphic displays. This will facilitate all learning styles, especially the visual and multi-sensory learner.
4.	There is a wide range of worked examples to guide the students on how a topic is tested at the examination level. These examples vary in terms of content and difficulty level.
5.	The examples also provide model solutions, so that students are guided in how to construct proper responses questions.

This session will take four (4) classes to complete. It will deal with the following:-
1.	Class 1 & 2 – Galileo Galilie & The Simple Pendulum
2.	Class 2 & 3 – Combining & Resolving Vectors
3.	Class 4 & 5 - Forces

I will teach each of the five (5) classes for forty (40) minutes each and then I will open the class for any questions to be asked. If there are no questions I will continue teaching the class.

This class will be presented using a PDF document that I will share via ZOOM (Outschool). At the end of the five (5) classes I will send the pdf documents via OUTSCHOOL 'emailing system'.

Students should have a basic understanding of Physics, but it is not necessary. As an Engineer I will explain Physics in a VERY SIMPLE manner that each student will be able to learn Physics from 0% to 100%.

This session will take four (4) classes to complete. It will deal with the following:-
1.	Class 1 & 2 – Galileo Galilie & The Simple Pendulum
2.	Class 2 & 3 – Combining & Resolving Vectors
3.	Class 4 & 5 - Forces

1.	Galileo Galilie & The Simple Pendulum
a.	discuss Galileo Galilei’s contribution to the methods of studying science
b.	understand why Galileo is regarded as the ‘father of experimental science’
c.	explain why the simple pendulum is described as ‘simple’
d.	understand the meanings of the terms associated with the simple pendulum
e.	appreciate the factors which determine the period of oscillation of a simple pendulum
f.	appreciate that straight line graphs can be used to determine how each of these factors affects the period of a simple pendulum
g.	understand why the pendulum was used in earlier times as the basis for constructing clocks

2.	Combining & Resolving Vectors
a.	distinguish between a scalar quantity (or ‘a scalar’) and a vector quantity (or ‘a vector’)
b.	understand what is meant by the ‘resultant’ of two co-planar vectors
c.	add together (or ‘combine’) two vectors to find their resultant in magnitude and direction by using either a construction method, or a calculation
d.	resolve a vector into two parts (or ‘components’), each acting perpendicular to the other

3.	Forces
a.	appreciate that a force is always either a push or a pull
b.	recall some ways in which forces are produced
c.	understand that a force may change the size, shape or motion of a body
d.	understand that forces generally act in pairs, called ‘paired forces’
e.	recall that paired forces act on two different objects of a system at the same time
f.	understand the concept of a derived quantity and how such a quantity is obtained
g.	recall that some derived quantities are given special names, generally after famous scientists
h.	understand the meaning of the term ‘fi eld of force’ as applied to gravitational forces
i.	define the term ‘gravitational field strength’
j.	use the term ‘gravitational field strength’ to calculate the weight of an object
k.	distinguish between the ‘mass’ and ‘weight’ of a body
l.	understand the meaning of the term ‘centre of gravity’ of a body
m.	understand why ‘centre of gravity’ may also be called ‘centre of mass’
n.	understand the significance of the centre of mass (or the centre of gravity) of a body in solving problems

Orientación para padres
I will present experiments via the document that I will be teaching from and some experiments if conducted may need parental supervision. These experiments do not need to be executed and are just for knowledge. But if a student has the capability to execute then they are free to do so. These experiments are usually conducted in a lab which is a controlled environment. If a student does not have a safe environment to conduct a parent should NOT allow any student to conduct any experiments. ALL students under 18 must have a Parent to supervise any experiment.
