The tutoring session will be adjusted to meet the goals of the student. We can go over homework problems, review for tests, clarify material learned in class, or prepare for future topics. I am flexible and attentive, and I will structure each session based on the needs of the student at the time. I can also help students prepare for their AP Exams, if they are taking an AP class. The exams are cumulative, and I can help students review past and present material.

I taught 8th grade gifted Algebra 1 and gifted Geometry for my first 9 years teaching at Pinckneyville Middle School and Hull Middle School. For the last 21 years I have been at Broowood High School, and I primarily taught Precalculus, AP Statistics, and AP Calculus BC. I have been an AP reader for Statistics for 16 years and I will be a reader this year as well (a reader is a teacher that is employed by College Board to score AP exams). I have been a Teacher of the Year, a local STAR teacher, and a county STAR teacher. I have an education specialist degree (Ed.S.) in secondary mathematics. I have a master's degree in secondary mathematics (M.Ed). I have an undergraduate degree in data analysis (B.S.) and an undergraduate in middle school education (B.S.).
