Each class is independent of others. Prior understanding of the subject is not required; all that is required is an open mind and an interest in the information provided. The learning goal of the high school biology curriculum is to prepare students with a foundational understanding of biological principles, enabling them to explore the diversity of life, its processes, and the interconnections within living systems, including molecular biology concepts. Hence, this course is designed to give students a detailed understanding of the concepts that lead to success in other advanced courses, such as AP Biology and AP Environmental Science.
