Welcome to my high school biology class! In this ongoing high school biology course, we will cover basic topics of life science that are typically covered in first part of high school biology curriculum, including scientific methods, chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, metabolism, cell division, and human genetics. 🌟 𝙇𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙉𝙀𝙍𝙎 𝘾𝘼𝙉 𝙅𝙐𝙈𝙋 𝙄𝙉 𝘼𝙏 𝘼𝙉𝙔 𝙏𝙄𝙈𝙀! Each class is independent of others. Prior understanding of the subject is not required; all that is required is an open mind and an interest in the information provided. Therefore, the topics will not cycle back to the beginning or if new topics will be introduced in upcoming weeks; the meetings will not build on knowledge, skills, or assignments from previous weeks. ⭐ Class Format Each lecture will be delivered by Powerpoint Slides with associated readings. For each module, I usually explain core concepts and the learners will have an option to participate reinforcement multiple choice (3-5) questions towards the end. All lectures will be recorded and will be released after done with the class, unless otherwise. Metas de aprendizaje
The learning goal of the high school biology curriculum is to prepare students with a foundational understanding of biological principles, enabling them to explore the diversity of life, its processes, and the interconnections within living systems, including molecular biology concepts. Hence, this course is designed to give students a detailed understanding of the concepts that lead to success in other advanced courses, such as AP Biology and AP Environmental Science.
