Learners will be introduced to themed vocabulary. Learners will practice pronunciation and will be able to identify the word, and its meaning, and use it in context. While learning vocabulary, students will also be practicing their listening and comprehension skills.

Week 1 Hola!  - Learners will learn about introducing themselves and sharing about who they are when meeting someone and making friends. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. 

Week 2 Mi edad  - Learners will learn about introducing themselves and sharing how old they are when making friends. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 3 Números  - Learners will learn the numbers 1-20. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. 

Week 4 Contemos (Let's Count) - Learners will count different items. Not only will students practice counting in Spanish, they will also learn new vocabulary.  Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. 

Week 5 Contemos de 10 en 10 - Learners will count by 10's all the way to 100 by counting different items. Not only will students practice counting in Spanish, they will also learn new vocabulary.  Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 6 Colores  - Learners will learn colors and talk about their favorite colors. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 7 Más Colores (More Colors) - Learners will learn colors and talk about their favorite color. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 8 Colores del arcoíris - Learners will learn rainbow words and its colors. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 9 Útiles escolares  - Learners will learn words of common school supplies that we use every day. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 10 Al la escuela (Let's go to school!) - Learners will learn everyday words related to school. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 11 Frases Necesarias - Learners will learn everyday phrases in Spanish which show good manners, too. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 12 Yo puedo (I can...)  - Learners will learn action words and phrases about things we can do.  Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 13 También puedo (I can also...) - Learners will learn action words and phrases about things we can do.  Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 14 Mi Cara  - Learners will learn words related to our faces. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 15 Nuestro cuerpo  - Learners will learn words of body parts. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 16 Sentimientos -  Learners will learn words about feelings and phrases about feelings that we experience on a daily basis. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 17 Emociones -  Learners will learn words about emotions and phrases about emotions that we experience on a daily basis. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 18 Mascotas - Learners will learn words about pets we love. Students can bring a picture of their pet if they have one. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 19 Más Mascotas  - Learners will learn words about pets and uncommon pets we love. Students can bring a picture of their pet if they have one. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 20 Animales Salvajes - Learners will learn words for wild animals. Students can bring a picture of their pet if they have one. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 21 Animales Marinos - Learners will learn words for ocean animals. Students can bring a picture of their pet if they have one. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 22  Mi fruta favorita - Learners will learn words of fruits that we like and eat often. Students can share what their favorite fruit is. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 23  Fruta Tropical - Learners will learn words for tropical fruits and where people eat them. Students can share what their favorite fruit is. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 24 La fruta y sus colores - Learners will learn fruits and their colors. Students will categorize fruits by their color. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 25	Los vegetales verdes	Learners will learn words about green vegetables that we like and eat often. Students can share what their favorite vegetable is as we practice vegetable names and all green things that we know. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 26	Los vegetales de colores	Learners will learn the words of vegetables as we practice Spanish colors. Students can share what their favorite vegetable is as we practice vegetable names and all green things that we know. Week 27 Mis juguetes - Learners will learn words for toys. Students can bring their favorite toy to show in class and talk about it. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 28 Más juguetes - Learners will learn the traditional toy words.  Students will practice saying "I like/I don't like..." in Spanish in terms of the toys they like or dislike.  Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 29 Los Deportes - Learners will learn vocabulary for sports.  Students will practice saying "I play/I don't play..." in Spanish in terms of the toys they like or dislike.  Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 30 Más Deportes - Learners will learn vocabulary for sports.  Students will practice saying "I play/I don't play..." in Spanish in terms of the toys they like or dislike.  Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 31 Días de la semana - Learners will learn the days of the week. Students will talk about their weekly activities and their favorite day of the week. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

 Week 32 Ayer, Hoy y Mañana - Learners will learn vocabulary for today, tomorrow and yesterday and apply the words in sentences.  Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 33 Números Ordinales - Learners will learn ordinal numbers. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 34 Meses del año - Learners will learn the first six months of the year months of the year. Students will talk about their birthday month. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 35 Meses del año - Learners will learn the last six months of the year. Students will talk about their birthday month. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 36 Tiempos y climas del año - Learners will learn words that describe daily weather. Students will talk about their favorite weather and season of the year. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 37  Estaciones del año - Learners will learn the seasons of the year.  Students will talk about their typical activities for each season. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 38	Mi ropa-Learners will learn vocabulary for seasonal clothing. Students will pick their favorite clothing for the different seasons.  Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 39	Más ropa-Learners will learn vocabulary for seasonal clothing. Students will pick their favorite clothing for the different seasons.  Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 40	Profesiones-Learners will learn vocabulary for different professions. Students will choose a preferred profession for when they become adults.  Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 41	Los planetas - Learners will learn vocabulary for the sun, the moon, and the terrestrial planets. Students will choose a favorite planet.  Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 42	Más planetas	-  Learners will learn vocabulary for the Jovian planets. Students will choose a favorite planet.  Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 43	El cielo - Learners will learn vocabulary for the sky and what we see in the sky. Students will practice saying what their favorite sky object is in general.  Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 44	En la ciudad - Learners will learn words for common places in a city. Students can share what their favorite place is when going or being in the city. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 45	Aprendemos en la ciudad - Learners will learn words for educational places in a city. Students can share what their favorite place is when going or being in the city. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 46	En la granja - Learners will learn words for things found at the farm. Students can share what their favorite thing is when visiting or being in a farm. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 47	Animales En la granja - Learners will learn words for animals found on the farm. Students can share what their favorite animal is on a farm. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Week 48  En mi casa - Learners will learn words for places/rooms in a house. Students can share their favorite spot when they are at home. Conversation will be encouraged to elicit learners to practice their Spanish in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Let's have fun while learning new words, pronouncing them correctly, and using them in conversation in a small group setting! I can't wait to see learners in my classroom and see their growth in their Spanish fluency.
