Hello and Welcome to Hebrew from the start! In this fun filled six week semester, kids will learn the basics of the Hebrew language.   They will become familiar with the Hebrew alphabet.  Learn the shapes of the letters and the sounds they make once paired with their vowels, as well as basic words and how to recognize letters in both script and print.  Class will be taught in a fun, easy going, inclusive and patient manner.  Students will get a chance to interact with one another, answer and ask questions and play games using print outs to help with their learning.  At the beginning of each class we will practice basic social greetings in Hebrew.  At the end of class we will set aside several minutes to let students discuss what they enjoyed about that days lesson.   This class will build from one week to the next.  Each week, we will review the names and sounds of the alphabet, and focus on a new vowel.  This is a beginner class where absolutely no prior knowledge ir experience is necessary.

Week of January 1st: Topic, Becoming Familiar with the Alphabet 
Week of January 8th: Working on letters, memorization, games , basic words 
Week of January 15th: learning and practicing basic greetings.   Reviewing names and sounds of alphabet letters 
Week of January 22nd: Introduction to Vowels 
Week of January 29th: Practice  basic greetings, review alphabet, begin to out vowels with letters 
Week of February 5th: Greetings and vowel with letter sound work .
