Curso intensivo de armónica para principiantes absolutos

This is a 4-week bootcamp designed to get kids started on the 10-hole diatonica harmonica. Students will learn how to play melodies and how to jam (improvise) with other musicians. 

Week 1 - Students will learn the basics of the harmonica. They will learn about keys of the diatonic harmonica and how it is different than a chromatic harmonica. They will all get a chance to "jam" with the teacher. The teacher will play a blues progression that will give the students a fun chance to improvise on the first day of class. 

Week 2 - Students will learn about the holes and notes of the harmonica. They will learn the key differences between first and second position harmonica playing. They will get a chance to "jam" with the teacher. This week will be a folk/country progression jam. 

Week 3 - Students will learn how to read harmonica tabs. We will have a more detailed discussion of breathing techniques. We will begin to learn an easy melody song like "Row Row Row Your Boat." 

Week 4 - We will review the material from the previous weeks. We will revisit "Row Row Row Your Boat" and end the class with multiple jam sessions. The teacher will provide feedback throughout and give tips and tricks to help the young harmonica players develop their own skills.
