This class is to create excitement and fun about the Halloween holiday! Be sure to have your learner wear their costume to class. We will be reading the book "The Night Before Halloween" by Natasha Wing and then taking turns sharing. Each learner will be given the chance to share about what they dressed up as, why they chose this costume and what they are most excited for about the Halloween holiday. My teaching style is interactive! This class is created to encourage peer to peer interaction and help learners work on sharing with others as well as listening to their classmates. I'm excited to celebrate the Halloween holiday with your learner through this class!

Welcome, thank you for taking an interest in my classes! My name is Katlin, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Masters in Public Administration. I currently work within the non-profit sector as an Executive Director and am a mom of 2. I love the opportunity to work within the community and with all ages across our departments. I taught at the pre-k level for 3 years, worked with youth 3-12 years of age in a summer program for 7 years and have the opportunity to mentor ages 12-18 within my career over the past 13 years.
I'm excited for the opportunity to teach within this platform sharing knowledge, helping students grow confidence and getting them inspired through creativity!
In my work experience I have interviewed across multiple backgrounds and levels of part-time, full-time and the Executive level. I believe making the smallest adjustment in pre and post interview prep and answering open-ended interview questions successfully can make a difference in getting a job. I am excited about holding an interactive class to help students gain confidence in the overall interview process from prepping to the post-thank you! I look forward to hearing from the students, sharing tips and sharing some real life examples to help along the way!
In my time teaching I loved watching student's creativity unfold! When you give a child the space to create and share their ideas you can see the excitement and confidence grow. As a teacher seeing a child get excited about what they're creating is one of the best experiences! I am looking forward to the opportunity to hold classes to bring out creativity and great discussion.
