Nos prepararemos para Halloween preparando algunas delicias y una bebida a base de brebaje de brujas. También haremos un poco de slime de calabaza para guardar. No podemos olvidarnos de vestirnos con nuestro disfraz favorito y cantar nuestras canciones de Halloween favoritas.

Each child is encouraged to wear a favorite costume. The first thing we will do is talk about our costumes and each child gets a chance to talk about their costume. Next, we will make some pumpkin slime. I will have a the instructions on the screen for all to see. I will walk the class through how to make the slime step by step. After we are finished with the slime, I have a pumpkin science project that I will demonstrate for the class. Last, we will make a witches treat with cookies and a witches brew that is sure to delight. I will have the directions on screen for all to see also. Let's not forget Halloween songs. This class is packed full of fun and excitement!

Parental guidance is suggested when a child is decorating the cookies.
Masks are welcome, however, masks should be removed for identification during the first four minutes of class to meet safety and privacy policies.
All costumes will have to be approved by the teacher to ensure that the costume is age appropriate and secular.

Costume of your choice Pumpkin Slime: 1. 1 small pie pumpkin(With the top carved off for easy access to the inside) 2. 5oz. of CLEAR glue 3. 1/3cup water 4. 1/2teaspoon baking soda 5. 1 tablespoon of contact solution Snack and Drink: 1. Black and Orange colored sprinkles 2. Fudge covered Oreo cookies(1 package) 3. 1 tub of orange icing(You can make orange by mixing red and yellow food coloring into white icing) 4. 1 Package of Hershey's Milk Chocolate Kisses 5. 1 cup to use for drinking 6.1/8cup of already prepared lemonade 7. 1/8cup grape juice 8.3/4cup lemon lime soda(Sprite) 9. 1teaspoon of grape JELLO powder(Do NOT prepare the JELLO, just need the powder)

Hello Everyone!! I love to teach fun and engaging classes for children ages 3-8. I enjoy being silly and singing silly songs with the class. My puppets and my own pets often visit the class. I have been teaching Prekindergarten for the past 8 years and before that, I taught kindergarten for 9 years. I love the energy that the young learners bring to class.
When I am not teaching, you will find me hanging out with my family around a camp fire or traveling around the United States. I am also a Girl Scout leader in my community and love taking my Girl Scout troop on many adventures including camping trips, field trips and hiking trips. We like to earn a lot of STEM and nature badges. I love the outdoors and try to get out as much as possible. When I taught in the local public school classroom, I would often take my class outdoors to teach if it was a nice day. So come join me in class and see what adventures we will take!
