¡Hablemos español! Español para principiantes e intermedios para estudiantes jóvenes

In this class, students will gain a basic knowledge of Spanish. Students will acquire many new vocabulary words and practical communication skills through engagement with the teacher and classmates. Students will also practice their Spanish skills through fun activities and group games. 

During classes, we will learn vocabulary pertaining to certain topics, such as seasons/weather, family and home, feelings and emotions, clothing, and much more! If your learner has some knowledge of Spanish (like colors, numbers, greeting words, etc.) and can understand basic questions/commands, then this class may be a good fit. Please feel free to message me prior to enrolling if you have questions about whether this class is a good fit for your learner.

 Learners will practice asking and answering questions using proper verb conjugations. Basic elements, such as colors and numbers, will be incorporated into our lessons regularly. Learners will begin to build conversational skills in a fun and engaging environment.

We will use Kahoot during this class. Kahoot is a game-based learning platform that allows students to answer questions in a game-type format. Kids love using it! I recommend having a secondary device, such as a cell phone or tablet, for Kahoot. Students can also have both Zoom and Kahoot open on separate browser tabs while using a desktop or laptop computer, as long as they are able to easily go back and forth between the tabs. If your child is using a tablet, then a secondary device would be necessary for Kahoot.
