Reading Tutoring will address individual student needs as well as focus on Comprehension, Fluency, Word Recognition, Decoding and Writing. The class will be one-to-one and will be learner driven in regards to instruction. I will work to meet your student on their terms and my teaching style will be determined on how the student learns-visual, kinesthetic, etc.

As' soon as I walked into my first classroom in 1994, I've been working with students to build strong foundations in Reading and Language Arts. I see each child as an individual with specific talents, challenges and minds. As we cover Reading concepts like Comprehension, Fluency, Word Recognition, etc., the focus of each lesson will be the student and how to best reach their needs. I am a certified teacher of 30 years and have taught students from PK-12, as well as adult ESL students. I am ESL certified and have a Masters in Reading Intervention. Teaching is my passion.
