When you live your life from a place of gratitude you are able to find joy every day. Unfortunately, this is not something that comes naturally to many people. It's a skill that must be learned and practiced so it can be a part of your life experience. Join us for a fun, interactive, engaging class that sets the foundation for leading a life from a place of gratitude. At the beginning of class, we'll talk about gratitude and how it can have a profound, positive impact on the way you view your life and everything around you. Then we will spend the rest of the class putting this all into practice by playing a fun game of "Gratitude Scavenger Hunt". For this game, I will give the students a category (ie, "Find something that makes you smile"). Students will have 2 minutes to find something in their home for the category and then share it with the other students. We will play as many rounds of this game as we can squeeze in! It's such a fun, practical way to starting thinking from a place of gratitude.

Lista de útiles escolares
A notebook and pencil/pen for taking notes is all that is needed. For the Gratitude Scavenger Hunt game, students will be given a category and then asked to look for something in their house that represents that category. The spontaneity of the game is what adds to the fun, but if your child feels uneasy with this format, please let me know and I can individually send you the list of categories in advance.
Recursos externos
Los estudiantes no necesitarán utilizar ninguna aplicación o sitio web más allá de las herramientas estándar de Outschool.
