Grado de EE. UU. Kindergarten - 1
In this lesson, learners will learn about prepositions by listening to a short story about a hen named Rosie. Although unaware that a fox is after her as she takes a walk around the farmyard, Rosie still manages to lead him into one accident after another! After the story, we will watch a short musical video from School House Rock about prepositions. Then, we will play a fun interactive preposition game, where the students can control the screen using their computer mouse or touchpad. Finally, we will make a preposition craft with Rosie the hen. The students will need the printable of Rosie and her preposition feathers as well as scissors and tape or glue. This class is great for children who are just learning about prepositions, or to provide extra practice for learners who already know about prepositions. Let's start our preposition learning!

Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
Hi! I'm Teacher Shannon! I have taught 2nd grade for 24 years. I've taught both Gifted and Regular Education. I was a substitute teacher for 2 years working with Early Childhood students as well as older elementary students. My passion is reading! I love Children's Literature and I have even co-taught college level students on "What's New In Children's LIterature?" for the last 10 years. What drives me as a teacher is to have a fun, safe, interactive classroom while embracing lots of quality literature. I want kids to love reading as much as I do and to have fun learning! And maybe make a craft or two along the way!
