(Obviously, for me.) I really enjoyed this class talking about and practicing my cover letter and resume. It had brought my experience to the next level just by helping me to actually write the cover letter and resume. So thank you for this class Mrs. Katelyn Miller. It has really helped.” -An Outschool Parent. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - *This class will not be canceled if only one student is enrolled for class. *Many students take this class for general elective credit, career preparation credit, STEM or technology credit, English credit, and/or writing credit, and may request a grade at the end of the semester for school credit. There will also be opportunity for question and answer time and group collaboration between peers. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - What’s your teaching style and how will you teach? I like to have fun in my classes. I am thorough in execution but joyful in presentation. I do expect students to follow instruction and do the assignments, and I welcome every question a student may ask. I will use slides to help present my lessons and hands-on work to engage student learning. I love having students bring in their own learning styles and ways of participation. Since this is a small class, I do expect to interact with all students. I want to learn about my students and what they are experienced in. As detailed as this class is, I am very easy going and enjoy teaching. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
