During this class students will have a brief introduction to the artist, Norman Rockwell and learn about his life and career as one of America’s all-time favorite artist and Illustrator! This will be followed by a drawing lesson in which students will create one of Rockwell’s famous paintings called, “Puppy Love.” During the first half of class students will develop the drawing in 5 progressive steps. - Students will learn about Norman Rockwell and draw one of his beloved paintings called "The Spooners." It is my hope that I can instill a love for drawing as well as a sense of confidence in your young artist! The cognitive skills that they master while drawing can also be helpful when learning at school! In the materials section you will find everything that you need for this exciting class!
Teacher is a former School Psychologist and a portrait artist with a passion for teaching children how to draw.
