Geometría: ¡Hablemos de formas!

We will cover the definition and aspects of various polygons, including rectangles, triangles and irregular polygons. We will then go over what area is and how to find it with our respective polygons. On week three, we will do the same, but with perimeter. Week four will be a lot of practice and putting their knowledge to the test. I have found that multi-modal instruction works best for many students, so I like to start lessons with a quick video that will pull students' attentions in and follow it with some discussion. After a brief discussion, there will be lecture-style instruction followed by practice. 

Prior Knowledge Necessary: Learners should have basic addition and multiplication skills and be able to add mathematical vocabulary to their repertoire.
