Gameschool: Escape Room Metamorfosis de un Mosquito

Oh no! Our mosquito repellent is locked in a trunk with a combination lock! We only have a little time to get all the numbers and unlock the repellent before hundreds of mosquitoes swarm us!

We will explore the four stages of mosquito metamorphosis in an escape room theme. The object is to finish 5 tasks before being swarmed by hundreds of mosquitoes; one task for each stage of the metamorphosis and a final review task.

We will learn a few facts about each stage and do activities like find-and-click, review quiz, choose your own adventure, guessing game, and two truths and a lie after each stage to reinforce the concepts. Completing each activity will give a number. The final task is a quiz reviewing all four stages a final time before spraying the campsite. 

The learning happens in a Google Slides presentation full of fun animations, sound effects, and clickable tasks. The teacher will screen share; no materials are needed outside the standard Outschool classroom.

By the end of the escape room, students will be able to talk about the four stages of mosquito metamorphosis and give a few facts about each one.
