In this ongoing experience, students will spend time showcasing and receiving feedback on games they are making! The games can be made in any engine (such as Unity, Unreal, or Godot), and physical games are also allowed! At the start of a session, I will have a quick round of introductions. After that, I will move into playing people's games through screen share. I can either play the game myself, or comment on a learner's gameplay. During the game showcase, I will give feedback and highlight the strengths of what the student has made. Time will be split between learners, so please make sure if there's a specific part you want me to test, that you add a way to get me there quickly! Since this class is learner directed, each week's general discussions will be dependent on what projects each individual project brings. I will be moderating the learner discussion to make sure that every project receives constructive feedback. Example Topics that may receive feedback Oct 24th: Camera control Oct 31st: Gameplay clarity (often referred to as "game feel" or "juice") Nov 7th: Difficulty balancing Nov 14th: Tutorial effectiveness
