Perfil
Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
Texas Certificado de Docencia en Educación especial
I have twelve plus years of successful experience in teaching students with disabilities, curriculum development, and support of new teachers in various communities and at various grade levels. Grade levels include elementary, secondary, and transition level. I have taught students in a variety of settings (resource, inclusion, life-skills, co-teach, Autism Unit, and Behavior Unit.

Teaching style:
I have enjoyed serving students ages 3-22. While I do believe in experiential learning, I believe that flexibility and student choice is highly important for success. When a child is interested and active in their learning, learning becomes enjoyable. Active learning also helps learners retain information. I also make a point to provide my students with multi-sensory instruction. My goal is to help students build a strong foundation so that they are as successful as possible when they live life after an IEP. The best reward for teaching is watching children make a connection in their learning!
