Experiencia de clase

Is your child a new violin, viola, or cello player? Has your child signed up for strings in school? Have you just gotten a brand-new instrument? This course is perfect for beginning strings students and those with up to a year of playing experience.

Get started on your musical journey with a closer look at good posture, bow grip, and tone. In this session, we will practice strings techniques through fun games and exercises. Students will cheer each other on in a lighthearted and supportive environment. Students will experience demonstrations, feedback, and encouragement. We will interact with each other and the teacher by showing off our new skills. By the end of the course, you'll be able to play your first scale and song!

Each class will feature video tutorials to get you started. Share questions and individual daily practice through Outschool's video and discussion features to get teacher feedback and tips for improvement. Every week will feature a video prompt for musicians to demonstrate their new skills on Flipgrid.com. You will be able to react and reply to each other's videos and celebrate everyone's progress.

All your new songs will be easier and more fun to learn when you start with good FUNdamentals!
