This one time intro to French will provide a snapshot to see if your child would like to explore the language further. In this class students will be introduced to counting, colors, and shapes in French. We will explore through song, movement, and games. Repetition and speaking will be highly encouraged as that's the best way to practice and learn a language. As this class will offer many opportunities for speaking, it is best for your child to be in an environment where they can unmute with little to no background noise.
Metas de aprendizaje
Students will learn how to count up to 10. They will practice this skill by counting objects.
Students will learn basic colors in French (blue, red, orange, yellow, purple, green, pink, black, brown, white). They will practice this skill by identifying the color of objects and using objects they have around them to show various colors.
Students will learn basic shapes in French. They will practice this skill by engaging in movements for different shapes and identifying shapes in objects.
