Welcome to my Frozen Adventure! At the beginning of class, each learner will be able to check in with various ice breakers one at a time before class begins. During this week long camp, we will begin with fun and engaging floor stretches and standing exercises to warm up our bodies. We will learn basic Ballet barre exercises as well as some Ballet Technique. We will then work on movement through basic motor skills through four dances several dance games. We will learn four special dance routines to "All is Found", "Let It Go", "Love Is An Open Door" and "Into the Unknown" and will end class with a game of freeze dance! At the end of camp, your learner will receive a certificate of competition. No experience necessary for this class.

Your child will learn beginner ballet dance steps in a creative and positive learning environment. They will also learn choreography to four short ballet dances which will teach them various patterns. Dancing to music also teaches the student how to develop rhythm and musicality. And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!

Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury. Hello! I’m Miss Lauren and am a performer, educator, choreographer and former dance studio owner in Milton, VT. I'm a homeschooling mom to my two boys for the past 5 years and love teaching Math and English!
I am trained in various styles of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern and Acrobatics and hold a Bachelors Degree in Dance. I am also a professional for Dancing with the Stars Burlington and have graced the Flynn stage with my performance in 2019 and guest performance in 2022.
I provide wholesome dance classes where movement and music selection is always age appropriate. My main focus is to create a fun and energetic learning environment allowing kids to express themselves! I have been instructing children of all ages for 18 years and have loved every minute of it!
When not dancing, I can be found spending time with my husband and two boys. Dancing has always been my number one love and passion and is the fuel for my soul! I can’t wait to see you in my class! Now let’s get moving!
