1-2 horas por semana. Students need practice applying the skills we work on in our sessions in order for skills to become automatic. This leads to fluent readers. I will provide additional practice for your learner at the end of each session. Ideally, students should practice reading at least 20 minutes each day. In my sessions, I will focus on building essential reading skills using the UFLI Foundations curriculum, a proven, research-based approach to literacy instruction. Each session is tailored to your child's unique needs and includes targeted, systematic instruction in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Tutoring sessions are highly interactive, starting with a brief review of previously taught skills, followed by engaging activities to introduce and practice new concepts. I use a mix of direct instruction, guided practice, independent practice, games, and digital learning tools to keep sessions fun and effective. My teaching style is supportive and adaptive, ensuring your child feels successful and motivated. Your learner will have my full attention during the session, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, practice, and receive immediate feedback. Progress will be monitored regularly, and I will adjust instruction as needed to help your child grow into a confident, capable reader.

Orton-Gillingham methods will be used, so these sessions are appropriate for all students. This includes students experiencing difficulty in their grade level phonics instruction and students with characteristics of dyslexia.
