Taller de gramática francesa para estudiantes de secundaria. Parte 3. Verbos: tiempo perfecto

En este curso de 2 semanas, veremos los verbos franceses en passé composé (tiempo pasado). Practicaremos mucho cómo escribirlos y pronunciarlos, para que el alumno adquiera más confianza al usar verbos en este tiempo.

I will give a pass or requires improvement comment for each piece of work. However, the students will be graded by their own school teachers. Part 3 is about French verbs in the Passé Composé (Past Tense). This tense is used when speaking about past events. It can also be written. We will use 'Je', 'Tu", 'Il', 'Elle', 'on', Nous', Vous', 'Ils' and 'Elles'.
We will be looking at verbs which use the Auxiliary Verb avoir in week 1 and those using être in Week 2. I will find interesting sentences for you to work with, and sentences for you to correct.
For the common irregular verbs we just have to practise!

Written and spoken practise of other regular -er verbs. (The same pattern for all 3 days). Fill in the blanks, correct the errors and match the person to the verb exercises.
Day 1. Monday. The regular -er verbs.
Day 2. Tuesday. -ir and -re verbs.
Day 3. Wednesday. The most common irregular verbs.

Week 2. 6th May.
Day 1. Monday. The verbs that take 'être' in the Passé Composé. Why do they take être? What is an intransitive verb of action?
Day 2. Using the être verbs in the Passé Composé - focussing on the extra 'e' for feminine and 's' for plurals. How to check your verbs for agreement. How to check if the noun in masculine or feminine.
Day 3. Using 'avoir' and 'être' verbs in speech and writing. Talk about a recent event. Write about your last vacation.
