Fractions stand out as one of the most challenging aspects of mathematics in education.  As an educator, I acknowledge that numerous students grapple with gaps in their comprehension of fractions, hindering their ability to fully grasp the associated concepts and problem-solving procedures. Drawing from my personal struggles with fractions during my youth, I've recognized that these challenges often stem from conceptual barriers.

In response to this, I have developed a specialized class aimed at supporting students who share the frustrations I experienced in my early years. This ongoing series focuses on addressing the key difficulties students encounter with fractions. The approach incorporates engaging and interactive presentations, utilizing popular gaming and movie themes such as Fortnite and Minecraft to make learning more captivating. Through this innovative teaching method, I aim to foster a deeper understanding of fractions and transform the learning experience for students.

2. Simplifying fractions
3. Converting fractions from improper to mixed numbers
4. Converting mixed numbers into improper fractions
5. Adding and subtracting fractions with like and unlike denominators
6. Adding and subtracting mixed numbers with like and unlike denominators
7. Renaming mixed numbers in order to subtract fractions. 
8. Multiplying and dividing fraction
9. Changing decimals to fractions and vice versa
10. Plotting Fractions

Class Outline:

1. Game-based Multiplication and division fluency exercise (10 min)- Multiplication and division are important skills for fractions. 
2. Target skill presentation with modeling (10) 
3. Guided practice (every student has a chance to complete a problem (20 min)
