In this 8 week class the students will be introduced to basic science concepts related to the study of the earth. Most classes will include teacher demos and student created drawings. PowerPoint will be used at times to provide further examples. At the end of some classes I will ask the students to draw a picture related to what we learned that day. During the next class student will be able to share their drawings as we review last weeks concepts. Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
I spent three years developing and teaching an after school kindergarten program, followed by two years teaching grade one. I also worked many years in a daycare. I love the enthusiasm young learners bring and I enjoy making scientific concepts approachable for all learners.
