Tarea
Homework will be assigned in this class, however it is not a requirement. Homework will be assigned at the end of each class session (twice a week). The assignments are intended to take no more than 20-30 minutes to complete. Homework assignments will vary to maintain engagement and cater to different learning styles: 📝Writing Exercises: These will include completing sentences, writing short paragraphs, and eventually, essays that incorporate the week’s lessons. 📝Creative Tasks: Students might be asked to write a short story using a set of vocabulary words or describe a picture to practice using descriptive language. 📝Worksheets: Grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary exercises that can be printed out for practice at home. 📝Reading Assignments: Simple reading tasks that align with the writing skills being taught, followed by questions that students need to answer in writing.

Experiencia de clase

This class is designed for East Asian learners seeking to develop their English writing skills from beginner to intermediate levels (CEFR Pre-A to B2). Tailored to address the unique challenges faced by speakers of East Asian languages, this interactive class focuses on building confidence and competence in English writing. Through practical exercises, focused instruction, and continuous feedback, students will enhance their ability to communicate effectively in English. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of achievement that acknowledges their improved writing capabilities.

English Grammar Basics: Understanding core grammar necessary for effective writing.
From Sentences to Paragraphs: Techniques for crafting structured sentences and coherent paragraphs.
Essay Writing Skills: Introduction to essay organization, thesis development, and argumentation.
Cultural Nuance and Style: Exploring how cultural backgrounds can influence writing style and learning how to write for global audiences.
Editing and Revision: Techniques for refining and editing written work to improve clarity and impact.
