Nivel Beginner - Intermediate
Start: We'll kick off the session with a presentation about folktales, with an emphasis on “The Gingerbread Man.” Students will watch a short YouTube video of the story, identify its key elements, and examine a reimagined version. Middle: Students will then design their own versions of “The Gingerbread Man,” inspired by their culture and experiences, using Google Docs in Google Classroom. End: We'll wrap up the session with students sharing excerpts from their unique stories. In addition to the one time meeting, the price includes personalized feedback in Google Doc highlighting your learner’s accomplishment and critiquing their revised fairytale.

Students will identify characteristics and types of folktales and apply those characteristics when rewriting a folktale "The Gingerbread Man" that reflects their culture.

I believe in guiding students towards self-efficacy, nurturing their love for learning, and fostering their development as independent problem-solvers. As a certified ELA and TESOL educator and executive function coach with a deep background in educational technology, my goal is to deliver engaging, standards-driven virtual learning experiences. My sessions encompass reading comprehension, writing skills, creative writing, grammar, organization, time management, and seamless integration of technologies, all tailored to meet each student's needs.
