In this class students will be introduced to how new technology and the growth of tourism impacted Florida from the 1800's to present day. Students will learn how technology impacted the development and growth of Florida as well as the development of tourism in Florida. I will use power point slides, story-telling and a worksheet to engage students on this topic.

There are no required materials. The texts I used while teaching my daughter and expanding the lessons for this class were the “Social Studies Readers” which can be found on Amazon - but are NOT required. I also used Florida Social Studies by McGraw Hill Education when designing the lessons for my daughter. I will provide a worksheet/activity for each section that will be posted prior.
