This 6 week class is designed for beginner photographers who want to learn how to take high-quality photos using their phone cameras. The course will cover a variety of topics, including the basics of photography, how to use different camera settings, editing techniques, and how to turn their hobby into a potential source of income. The class is open to both Apple and Android users.

GOALS:
-Introduce students to the best apps for their specific phone
-Teach students about the equipment needed to take great photos
-Provide students with an understanding of basic camera settings and how to plan their shots
-Help students develop their own personal style and creativity
-Provide students with tips and tricks on using their smartphone camera
-Teach students how to edit and enhance their photos
-Introduce students to the business side of photography, including networking, building a fan base, and monetizing their photos
-Provide students with information on internet and phone safety

CLASS TOPICS:
Week 1: Introduction to photography and best apps for your phone
Week 2: Basic camera settings, planning your shots, and types of photography
Week 3-4: Tips and tricks for using your smartphone camera, including how to use tripods and remotes for perfect stills
Week 5: Photo editing basics
Week 6: Insights on how current successful photographers became successful, networking with like-minded creators, monetizing your photos and building your fan base, and practicing internet and phone safety.

Learners will learn skills that last a lifetime!

The flexible schedule (Flex Class) allows your learners to watch the pre-recorded videos and do them at a time that is FUN for them! You can also spend extra time on the topics your child is most interested in. Since this is a flex class with no live meetings, students can log in at a convenient time to complete the week's lesson. We will be going through each week as a group and I will post the lesson weekly (depending on which day you started).

The videos will contain the information required to give students a good understanding of each topic and each one will include homework for the students to undertake during the week. Homework assignments will include writing a list of topics, interests and areas of expertise in which the students might be interested in developing. There will also be research assignments into how to choose a style, the importance of images  and videos, and all the details needed to make a great photo. 

Time frame for the Week:
Mondays - Teacher will post the information needed for the week.
Tuesdays-Wednesday - The teacher can answer any questions pertaining to the topic of the week.  The students will need to complete any homework assignments and answer any questions in the class.
Thursday - Students need to have all tasks completed and uploaded in the classroom.  
Friday - The teacher will provide feedback to the class and individual students, students will also be able to engage in peer to peer review and be able to discuss how they went about completing the tasks.
Saturday - Sunday - Teacher will be available to answer any questions that the students may have for the week or the next week.

No required experience or previous knowledge is needed by the learners.
