(FLEX) ¡La Tierra es asombrosa! - ¡Campamento de Ciencias de la Tierra para niños!

This course is a flexible schedule course meaning students will complete the content on their own time! There are no live classes. In this 6 week course, we will focus on the foundational Earth Science topics surrounding the structure of Earth itself. The course outline is as follows:

Week 1: Stardust - Origins of Planet Earth from the Big Bang
Week 2: Layers of the Earth
Week 3: Tectonic Plates
Week 4: Mountains & Rifts
Week 5: Earthquakes
Week 6: Volcanoes

Students will have access to a virtual classroom which will be linked. I will also provide lab ideas, craft ideas, suggested books and additional videos and quizzes as applicable! They will be asked to submit photos and videos of their notebook entries and projects.

This is a flexible schedule course which means student complete work on their own time. There are NO LIVE MEETINGS during this class but I will be checking the Outschool classroom daily to answer questions, help with students' understanding of the topic and give feedback on projects. Students are also expected to comment on each others' submitted work.

As students complete projects and notebook entries, they can share them in the classroom to for other students to see. Students will have access to the virtual classroom the entire time and content will be changed each week. All of the lab sheets and craft sheets are my own work created specifically for registered learners of this class only.
