They will be asked to practice routine daily.

Experiencia de clase

This class will be fun and interactive as well as informative.
I will teach 6  basic exercises  that we will put together to make a simple, fun workout
The exercises will include....
Shoulder press with or without weights
Bicep curls 
Tricep overhead press
Squats 
Push-up
Sit-ups
Jumping jacks and running in place  
I will explain and demonstrate several exercises with and without weights.
We will start with a mindful meditation and end with some yoga poses.
After discussion, we will have a 20-minute workout together

Metas de aprendizaje

Students will be taught about the major muscle groups and will learn a basic 15-minute workout routine to build strength, endurance and self-confidence. I will demonstrate each exercise and it's benefits.
Basic stretching and warming up of all muscle groups will precede the workout. And I will emphasize the importance of both.
The class will consist of basic moves such as shoulder presses, bicep curls, squats and running in place and jumping jacks
Together we will do the workout putting together these exercises.. 10 repetitions each 2 times with rest time in between. 
I will incorporate yoga and meditation to enhance the experience.

Orientación para padres
Parent please be advised, of potential hazards. An open workout space will be needed, proper close-toe shoes . Light weights are used and parents shoud be aware that injuries that can occur if not properly supervised .

If student wants to use dumbells , I suggest 5 lbs or lighter.. 
Student can use household items as weights such as water bottles or soup cans.
