In this course, students will learn how to write a first-grade narrative piece complete with characters, setting, events, problem, solution, and the moral (lesson). Each week a new building component of narrative writing will be introduced, identified, and practiced. Your child will engage in educational writing games and writing each week. I will model the skill, practice it with them, and then give them an opportunity to practice it independently.

In today's lesson, you will show what you know about narrative writing. You will write a real or imagined story that includes characters, setting, problem and solution. Inside Out Characters
In today's lesson we will reference the characters of Inside Out to learn about physical and character traits of characters. We will then create our own characters using adjectives (physical traits) and character traits (personality traits). 30 minutos de lección en vivo en línea
Lección 4:
Introduce Your Character

Orientación para padres
Please be advised that we will reference folk tales and fairy tales during this course. Please let me know at the beginning of the course if there happens to be a folktale that you would not like your child to experience. The story is selected base on the makeup of the class but will be provided at lease a week before the session takes place.
