In this ongoing class we will meet once a week to play math games to review First Grade math concepts. Each class we will greet each other and do a quick review of the concept of the day. We will then play our game! Week of March 4: addition and subtraction 3 number word problems Week of March 11: measurement (inches and feet) Week of March 18: compare numbers using symbols Week of March 25: find 10 more or 10 less without counting Week of April 1: review jeopardy Week of April 8: adding two digits with two digits Week of April 15: subtracting two digits from two digits Week of April 22: money word problems Week of April 29: review jeopardy

Hello, my name is Ms. Stephanie! I have been on Outschool for almost 3 years and teaching for the past twelve years. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Elementary Education. I have been a tutor and a lead classroom teacher for Kindergarten and First Grade. I love working with children and seeing them learn and grow. I believe children learn best through having fun and participating in engaging activities.
I also have a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work. I am able to use this degree to teach learners about emotions, fears, personality, etc.
I have visited several countries and lived in four different states. I have two children of my own.
