Experiencia de clase
Each week we will focus on one concept or skill from fifth grade skill sets. Students will be given direct instruction of the concept of focus. They will then be given example problems to work on in whole group, following the teacher’s example and directions. This time will allow for open discussion and questions to be asked in order to gain a deeper understanding. Finally, students will be given their own problem(s) to work on during class time. - Students will learn and/or improve on their fifth grade math skills. This class will fit the child who is in fifth grade, the child who will be going into fifth grade or the child that would benefit from additional review of the fifth grade concepts learned previously!

Frecuencia: disponible bajo peticiónDetalles: In class observations of the students will help the teacher to understand areas of weakness and strength. It will also help to direct the class coverage of each topic and whether to increase learning or slow down the steps!
Each learner should come prepared with something to write with and something to write on (white board & markers/ pencil & paper, etc). Other supplies needed will be posted in the classroom each week, but will not be more than materials that can be found in the home!
