Comprensión lectora de ficción: cuentos, arte y elementos clave

In this class, I have a welcome note for each week that gives instructions in a fun way. I try to keep the students guessing each week on my humor. I provide a lesson walk-through video, highlighting the main concepts of each week's literary element. The slides have been created to be engaging and informative. The lesson slides will also contain the reading selection(s) for each week. After the lesson, there will also be a note, and instructions for an art challenge.  

Each week's art challenge goes along with the reading from class and I pose a challenging art task for students to show me they understand the literary element in a fun art project. I understand how difficult it can be for students to complete quizzes, essays, and exams. That's not everyone's way of showing comprehension. Artists, this is your chance to sharpen your art-skills saw and show that you understand literature!
