Hi! 
I have enjoyed making things ever since I was little. I remember one of my first experiences with art was  when one of my classmates told me he knew how to draw a pirate ship. My friend started with a few simple lines and just continued by adding a few more. I didn't see it at first, but when I did, It was my first "aha!" learning moment. Immediately after that I wanted to know how draw.  As an artist and educator, it is one of my goals to give that moment of visual clarity to those who seek it. 
I come from a long line of traditional artists. I believe that everyone, given the right tools, can learn to draw and paint what they see.  This can then become your visual vocabulary letting you express yourself however you want.  
Lately I've been working with digital tools. I appreciate what these new tools are able to do for us and would love to see how I can use them to make images.
