Hello! In this One-Time class, learners ages 4-9 will explore different digraph sounds in a fun and interactive way! We will first distinguish the four different digraph sounds through utilizing Katie Garner's Secret Stories. We will sort pictures with digraph sounds and we will then look at pictures with different digraph sounds and interact with one another to identify the digraph in the picture. We will also play a game to match the digraph sounds! I believe meeting students where they are at academically is so important and I will be accessing throughout class to determine the next direction that instruction should take. I also believe it is paramount that learning be engaging, so we will be having fun in class! Please join me on this journey of Fantastic Phonics: Digraphs!
