EOG Prep/Spring/Summer Math 6 Week 1:1 Tutor Grade K-6 Assessment and Syllabus

Each 30 minute private tutoring session will focus on the student as an individual learner. I will work closely with parents to identify specific strengths and areas of weaknesses in their targeted grade for mathematics. I will adhere to planning instruction and delivery of grade specific content and strive to help them gain proficiency of the learning objectives. The tutoring sections will follow a 6 week breakdown. Here is how first grade MIGHT look.
Week 1 number sense
Week 2 place value
Week 3 money
Week 4 shapes and patterns
Week 5 word problems mixed operations
Week 6 time
Skills to be taught will be determined through parent teacher communication.
Each week we will begin our class with a review of the previous weeks content. Using a scaffolding method will keep skills sharp and  polished. I do not teach a one and done method! We will review and build on our skills. I will be sure to follow up with a comprehension check up! After a quick review activity, I will introduce a new concept. I will provide modeled and guided instruction. I will use an I do, we do, you do approach. Together, we will move through the content in a fun, meaningful and highly interactive process. Your child will grow with me! I can offer 9 week sections too! I follow all Outschool attendance policies.
