This class will focus on the F 80 Shooting Star the first production U.S. Air Force jet fighter. This class will instruct the student about the F 80 fighter, different variants, facts about the aircraft, and how the aircraft was used in Korea. The focus will be on both scientific and historic facts about this first-generation jet fighter and how it served in Korea. There will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information in this course. There is also an informational video about the F 80. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned homework in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students.
