Poems covered in this class will include:
   Annabelle Lee
   "Alone"
   A Dream Within a Dream
   Israfel
   The Raven

Each week, students will be provided with links to a video of an expect recitation of the poem and to the class presentation. The class presentation will include:
     * language and vocabulary
     * poem structure and transitions
     * rhyme scheme
     * scansion and meter
     * literary devices
     * theme
     * emotional impact of the poem

Student Interaction: During each week, discussion topics will be posted for students to share their thinking about each poem. 
After reviewing the reading, presentation, and discussion topics, students will choose a method to share their learning with the class, including: filming their own dramatic reading, writing a translation of the poem into modern language, creating an art project inspired by the poem, or writing a personal response. Student responses will be posted in the Outschool classroom and shared with classmates for further discussion.
