In this one time class your child will learn how their brain responds during stressful situations. They will also learn how to control these strong emotions that life brings. We will be using paper, pencil, and colors (optional) to demonstrate the part of brain and their functions. During class we will watch a short video to help us understand this on a deeper level. We will be practicing a breathing exercise and participate in focusing in on our 5 senses. Practicing these exercises is a great way to help your child be more present and less reactive. I have been teaching this class for five years in an in-person school environment, it is one of my favorite things to teach and I look forward to supporting your child in this class. Your child will leave this class with tools that support them in their daily lives.
