Campamento de verano para explorar la producción cinematográfica y televisiva: fotografía cinematográfica

Welcome to the exciting world of  cinematography! This one-week class is perfect for young filmmakers and TV and film enthusiasts alike. Over the course of five days, we will explore the foundational elements of cinematography and how these principles are put into practice. This will include an introduction to different types of shots, basic camera movements, the role of lighting, and how to tell a story through the lens of a camera! Each day, we will focus on a specific topic and will engage in hands-on activities. No previous experience is necessary, just bring your curiosity and creativity!

Each day, students will participate in a one-hour class session. Following the class, there will be a take-home assignment designed to reinforce the day's lessons. These assignments should be completed and ready for review in the following class. 


The week will follow this structure:

Monday: Understanding Cinematography & The Key Players

Tuesday: Storyboarding & Types of Shots and Camera Movements

Wednesday: Types of Films & The Role of Lighting

Thursday: The Director & Storytelling

Friday: Bringing it All Together

SUBSITUTE POLICY:
Ferrell Studios is an organization on Outschool with about 15 teachers with professional training and experience in the arts. Occasionally, the teacher for this class may not be able to teach and a substitute teacher from the organization will take her place. Only teachers trained to teach this class will serve as a possible substitute for the class. A message will be posted in the Outschool classroom before the class takes place in the event a substitute will be teaching. Thank you for your understanding!
