Tarea
1 hora por semana. We will be working on each project for 3-5 weeks and there will be optional homework available for students who wish to work outside of class time. For these projects, students will share their work at the start of class and we will check-in individually.
Evaluación
Parents of students attending class regularly can request a meeting for an individual assessment of your child’s growth and needs. In-class discussions will provide assessments for students while working on their projects.

Nivel Beginner - Intermediate
This ongoing weekly art class focuses on three-dimensional art and craft projects. Designed for young artists ages 8-12, this captivating class is a mix of instructor demonstrations, work time, and one-on-one assistance. We will explore the fundamentals of 3D art including line, form, composition, shape, motion, and concept. The materials used will be easily found in the home or an art supply store and include paper, cardboard, recycled plastics, yarn, fabric, wood, found objects, plasticine clay, papier mâché, and more. 

Join the class anytime from any device! We will spend 3-4 weeks on each project, so I would recommend starting the class on a project start date listed below, but we can always make it work if you join mid-project. 

What Will Be Taught:
•	Diverse techniques: Constructing with cardboard, modeling clay, soap carving, sewing, fiber art, yarn weaving, paper mache, recycled plastics assemblage, and more. 
•	Art Fundamentals: Line, shape, form, surface, color, space, motion, and time.
•	Unique materials: Explore the versatility of paper, cardboard, metal wire, modeling clay, carved soap, recycled plastics, yarn, and fabric.
•	Problem-Solving: Encourage creative thinking and problem-solving in the context of 3D art.
•	Artistic Independence: Foster a sense of artistic independence in each young creator.

Class Structure:
•	Step-by-Step Demonstrations: Ms. Teresa will introduce new 3D art techniques through step-by-step demonstrations.
•	Guided Work Time: Students will apply learned skills to create exciting self-directed 3D art projects under the supervision of the instructor.
•	Individual Guidance: Ms. Teresa will provide personalized guidance during work time to support each student's artistic journey.
•	Group Discussions: Students will engage in group discussions about artistic choices and the creative process.
•	Sharing Work: Students will have opportunities to share their work in the classroom. . 

No Previous Experience Required: This class is open to all skill levels, and guidance will be tailored to each student's individual needs.

Materials for this class should be basic art materials available at home or at a low cost at most stores. This might include drawing paper, construction and colored paper, scissors, gluesticks, white glue, masking tape, markers, crayons, colored pencils, oil pastels, paintbrushes, watercolor paints, acrylic paints, recycled plastics and cardboard materials, metal wire, yarn, fabric, sewing needle and thread, etc. *Class supply list may contain affiliate marketing links 

Specific materials needed for each class will be listed in the weeks before class starts. Instructions will be provided to guide students through each project.

Ms. Teresa teaches art workshops to kids of all ages at her local library, public elementary schools, and craft schools nationwide. This 3D art class is loosly based off a University-level course she taught in the past, and is adapted to fit the needs of young artists.
