In this class, students will explore a wide variety of the history and culture of Ancient Egypt while considering multiple perspectives. During our adventure together, your learner will explore the astounding pyramids of Egypt, the Great Pyramid of Giza, why the pyramids were built, and who built them from different angles. Students will enjoy learning using a variety of methods, including videos, slide presentations, drawing, brainstorming, and arts and crafts. They will be encouraged to engage in the class by asking questions and sharing their thoughts from their unique perspective. To ensure a comprehensive understanding of the subject, we will also explore multiple viewpoints and interpretations of historical events. We will play a review game at the end to remind ourselves of what we learned. Please have the worksheets downloaded in advance of the class. These will help your learner to take good notes and consider different perspectives

Fuentes
There are several historical sources that can help ensure that your class on Ancient Egypt is not biased and includes the perspectives of marginalized groups. Here are the top sources that I use in my Ancient Egypt classes.
1. Khan Academy [1] - It is a free online learning platform that offers courses on various subjects, including Ancient Egypt. Khan Academy's courses are designed to provide an unbiased and comprehensive overview of the topic.
2. Ancient Egypt [2] - This website provides a wealth of information about Ancient Egypt, including its history, culture, and society. It is an excellent source for learning about the perspectives of marginalized groups, such as women and slaves.
3. Bandura's Social Learning Theory [3] - This theory explains how gender roles are socially constructed and influenced by cultural factors. Understanding this theory can help you analyze the role of women in Ancient Egyptian society and how it compares to other ancient societies.
4. Ancient Egyptian Art - Artifacts and artwork from Ancient Egypt can provide insight into the lives of marginalized groups such as women, slaves, and foreigners. The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City has an extensive collection of Ancient Egyptian art.
5. Letters and Journals - Letters and journals from Ancient Egypt can provide a personal perspective on the lives of marginalized groups. The British Museum in London has a collection of Ancient Egyptian letters and journals that provide insight into the lives of women, slaves, and foreigners.
