Hello! I’m Erika, a proud mom to 4 wonderful daughters and a playful little dog named Sugar. 🐾 I’ve been a primary school teacher in Canada for 19 years and I’m certified by the Ontario College of Teachers with a Bachelor of Education degree. 🎓

Since 2021, I’ve been a parent on Outschool, and since 2024, I’ve had the privilege of teaching here as well. I specialize in Early Years Kindergarten Instruction, with additional qualifications in special education and behavioral sciences. Recently, I completed training in Structured Literacy, a method that’s been incredible for helping students overcome reading challenges! 📚

My classes are all about Structured Literacy, offering clear, step-by-step lessons that help students build their reading and writing skills. It’s truly amazing to see how much progress my students make, both in the classroom and during online tutoring! 🚀
