Excel | Principiante | Semana 09 SP | Explora datos con Excel: conviértete en un ninja de los datos

Understanding data is a superpower for the future. In this flex course, students will receive weekly detailed videos and examples (on average, around 1 hour of video per week) and practice fun and interesting data sets that go through various topics in Microsoft Excel, which can proceed at the learners own pace. Students can watch the videos, or follow along with the videos and the provided Excel sheets. 

The course will scaffold those topics to build an understanding of how to analyze data. Students will work on a small weekly homework task and submit it before the next class for feedback. We will start from scratch and cover topics from an overview of Excel, conditional formatting, formulas, and functions. Each week we will discuss new ways to look at data, learn additional functions, and explore the program. We will cover logical statements, tables, pivot tables, macros, formatting, math, formulas, forecasting, cell referencing, named cells, and many other topics. This is a great course for both beginners and those who have some background in Excel. In addition to weekly videos and feedback, students will be presented with summaries and links that review the topics we cover each week. 

Students can use either Mac or PC versions of Excel, and we will try to feature both in the course and show the differences between them.
