Soccer has taken the world by storm and some of the up-and-coming players have quite the stories. In this class students will read short biographies on some of the most prominent players in the game. While reading, we will pause to analyze the certain choices those players made and the experiences they had. We will also compare and discuss what we would have done had we been in those players shoes all with an emphasis on conversing, pronouncing, and understanding the topic through the English language. The student will have an English driven discussion about the biggest soccer players in world football. I will conduct the class and ensure that the discussion is free-flowing, well-paced, and fun! Watching each and every game is not necessary, but an added bonus. My goal is for everyone to be included in the conversation and learn something new from one another. Feel free to wear your favorite jersey!
