Summer is finally over and you and your family decide to visit Farmer Joe's farm in the country's. This year, his corn maze is supposed to be the best ever! There will be three fun events in the corn maze. Enter the pie eating contest, stuff a scarecrow and bob for apples to make your way through the maze and escape. There will be double and triple digit addition, rounding numbers to the nearest 100 and 1000 and logic puzzles to solve in the pie eating contest. Read a story about a scarecrow and correctly answer the comprehension questions to make a scarecrow. Bob for apples and answer the synonym and antonym questions. We will solve the clues together as a class. I will give hints, guide and help when necessary so learners will feel successful no matter their skill level. I am very flexible with class scheduling. If you would like to have this class at a different time or date than you see listed, please send me a message with the exact time and date and I will do my best to accommodate your learner. Hello! My name is Sharon, Teacher Sharon. I am both thankful and excited to have this opportunity to help children from all over the world have fun while learning. I love making learning fun!
I have my Masters of Education (MEd) and over 20 years of experience teaching and learning from children of all ages. I have experience as a nursery school director, a Kid's Club supervisor (twice) and a classroom teacher for Pre-K through high school. I have also taught technology, after-school elementary science classes, cupcake decorating, and brick building.
I am very fortunate to have grown up overseas and have lived all over the world. Some of my many passions include creating fun, educational classes, scuba diving, traveling, science, crafting, my precious dog, cat, fish and snails and of course teaching.
I like to keep class sizes small to help learners engage and participate. If your child is interested in any of my classes that are not currently scheduled, or if a different time or day would work better for you, please feel free to contact me.
Learning in my classroom is engaging, energetic, fun, enjoyable, upbeat and entertaining. "Your child won't want to leave at the end of class and will beg to come back for more." (That's my superhero catch phrase.)
