The goal of this course is to begin our note reading journey. This is a longer version of the  Young Learner 1 course.  Students will learn to read in Middle C Position. (Both Thumbs are on Middle C   ( Right Hand C-G ) and (Left Hand C- F)   Students will have a chance to demonstrate each song covered and we will focus on independent discovery of short songs.  (Sight reading)  Students will work independently and will have the opportunity to move on to a new song if they are finished with a particular assignment.  
After Completing this course, Students will continue into the Spectacular Piano / Keyboard Camp for Young Learners Level 2  Class.  Students never truly grow too advanced for that course.

Class Experience
I will cover basic note reading and piano playing. My teaching style is patient and fun. My class is structured like a private lesson session. Each person will have the opportunity to share what they have learned through performances.
Learners will need a keyboard so that they may practice however a learner does not need any prior piano experience. 
 After each lesson, students should review and try to play the music in the lesson notes that is sent after each lesson. 



Learner's Lesson 1
Introduction to the Piano/Keyboard. Students will learn about the piano.  Black and White keys and the groups.
Learner's Lesson 2
Students will learn about the Staff, Treble and Bass Clefs as well as note values and reading Middle C,  
Learner's Lesson 3
Introduction to Right  D  reading using quarter, whole and half notes in sequential and non-sequential order.
Learner's Lesson 4
Introduction to Left B reading using quarter, whole and half notes in sequential and non-sequential order.
Learner's Lesson 5
Students will learn to read and play  right E  reading using quarter, whole and half notes ing sequential and non-sequential order.

Students will learn to read and play  Left A  reading using quarter, whole and half notes in sequential and non-sequential order.

Students will learn to read ties in music

Students will Learn to read and play quarter, half and whole rests on the keyboard.
